NATURE TRAILS AND INDIAN TALES
June 16th - 20th, 9:00am till Noon
Ages 5-6 years
Come enjoy a week full of nature filled fun and out-door action with Fern Hollow Naturalist April Claus. This half-day nature camp provides a "hands-on" experiences for your child. Activities for the week include: examine and study live snakes, catch and observe insects and spiders in our meadow, dig up animals bones in our new fossil pit, learn about our local Native Americans and make great crafts to take home. Daily activities will include a morning hike, a snack and story time, educational study topic for the day with an occasional nature art activity.

BIOLOGIST IN TRAINING
June 23rd-27th, 9:00am till Noon
Ages 7-8 years,
This half-day nature camp will make a true biologist out of your child. Daily educational themes will focus on reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects, trees, mammals, fish and other wildlife found in Pennsylvania. Daily activities will include a morning hike, a visit by special guests and the study topic for the day. Nature games and art activities will also accompany our activities throughout the week. On the last day of camp, parents and guests will be invited for a pizza party.

BEAR CUB ADVENTURE
June 24th-26th, 2:00pm till 4:00pm
Ages 3-4 years,
Looking for something fun for your toddler to do? Then have them join us for this three day camp filled with fun games, crafts, and exploring nature at Fern Hollow. Sure to entertain and expose your child to the wonders and beauty of our natural world.

HAVE A BLAST ROCKETRY CAMP
June 30th-July 2nd, 9:00am till Noon
Ages 4th through 9th grade
This camp is a hands-on introduction into rocket science. Students will learn the basic physic principles behind rocket flights. During the three day camp, students will design, assemble and launch air powered rockets and solid fuel rockets. No quizzes, no test, no homework, just lots of rocket fun! Tuition includes materials and supplies fee.

NATURE DISCOVERY CAMP
July 7th-11th, 9:00am till Noon
Ages 5-6 years
Come and enjoy a week full of discovery as we learn about many different parts of nature. What will we find? What will we see? What will we hear? Activities for the week may include animal survival tactics, adaptations, wildlife and plant identification, crafts, fun games, and rainy day activities to keep things lively! We will be doing nature activities to spark our senses and ignite our minds as we explore and enjoy the meadow and the trails of FHNC.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMP
July 9th-11th, 9:00am till 3:00pm
*On the 11th campers will return to FH at 5:00pm, parents and campers are invited to stay for a barbecue and bonfire
Ages 9-11 years
Want to have fun and visit some of the most beautiful natural areas in western Pennsylvania? If so, this is the camp for you. Join Fern Hollow Naturalist, April Claus, for some exciting outdoor action- hike in the forest, wade through freshwater streams, get muddy, catch salamanders, master the art of climbing at an outdoor ropes course, and camp out under the stars at Fern Hollow. Each day campers will travel by bus to our destination. PTuition includes supplies, transportation, admission to activities, dinner and campfire snack on the 11th.

FERN HOLLOW FAIRY FANTASY
July 14th-18th, 9:00am till Noon
Ages 8-10 years (girls only)
This half-day camp is just for girls who love to hang out with their friends,do fun crafts , and have fun playing outside. Activities for the week may include outdoor nature games, water games, nature crafts, plus each girl will build their own miniature fairy house to display in our outdoor classroom. Tuition includes materials and supplies fee.

EXPLORING ART & NATURE AT FERN HOLLOW NATURE CENTER
July 21st-25th, 9:00am till 3:00pm
Ages 7-10 years
Join Fern Hollow Nature Center and Sweetwater Center for the Arts for an exciting week of adventure as campers hike trails, view insects and study nature. In the morning, children will participate in an art camp with Sweetwater veteran instructor, Sally Oberdick, where they will create artwork utilizing materials found in nature as well as materials found on Sweetwater's shelves. During the afternoon, campers will turn their attention to the natural beauty of Fern Hollow with Rachel Sica. Campers will enjoy afternoon hikes in the meadow searching for wildflowers, creepy crawlies and birds. Material fee is included in the tuition.
